Social Awareness for Integrated Development (SAID)

Background: SAID was founded and registered in the year 1990 under the society registration act 1350 Fasli bearing No.2707/1990. It is a non-profit, non-political and non-government voluntary organization formed with an objective to bring holistic development in the lives of poor, illiterate, ill fated, oppressed, depressed and marginalized sections of the society by way creating awareness. The Organization comprise of a group of committed Social Workers, who strives for the enlistment of socio-economic standards of traibals, dalits, women, children and other weaker sections of the society.

SAID believes in the concept of UNIVERSAL FAMILY where the equality of human being persists. We have undertaken several activities with an objective to achieve holistic development of all weaker sections of the society and in every activity we have understood the significance of participatory approach and taken in to consideration of the same at every juncture. All of our projects are aim at educating rural masses (especially triabl, dalit, formers, agricultural labour, women and children) and awaken them and liberate them from the clutches of poverty and ignorance.

Vision: SAID envisages a society which is free from all kinds of exploitation, oppression and suppression of human beings further it visualizes that the poor and marginalized sections of the society will have equal access to natural resources for their sustainable development irrespective of caste, class, creed and religion.

Mission: The mission of the organization is to promote the dignity and social equality as well to empower the communities to get the equal share in natural resources and in the facilities and amenities provided by the state.
